The TW 600 is a completely new development in active sub-woofers, based on our TCI High-End active loudspeakers. Our switching output stages are an in-house development, and are of discrete construction (we don’t use ready-made ‘off the peg’ chips). They have proved extraordinarily effective in practice: their dynamic characteristics and speed are unexcelled, as are their power reserves and sound qualities.
The TW 600 is also fitted with the sophisticated cone regulation system of the TCI, which controls the lower limit frequency of the two bass systems as well as the cone travel. By this means we have achieved a quality of low bass reproduction at really high levels that would not be possible in any other way. The active unit offers many sensible set-up facilities, such as variable limit frequencies, continuous level regulation and phase governing, protective circuitry, an automatic power-on circuit and a processor which controls the filters perfectly in stereo and surround mode (SC link) when used in conjunction with other T+A equipment. The TW 600 makes your home cinema set-up into a system which will shake your very foundations!
