The LGP 20 is a genuine all-round talent, as it can be employed as a Hi-Fi speaker, a centre speaker or a panel loudspeaker in a conventional stereo system, in a home cinema set-up or a surround system. The LGP 20 is only 11 cm deep and 12 cm wide, making it ideal for positioning adjacent to flat-screen televisions, yet its effective volume is relatively large. The three 8 cm bass / mid-range units can handle extremely high levels whilst producing a very clean, dynamic sonic image. In conjunction with the super annular tweeter these drive units generate a very open, clearly defined sound stage. This is very important for good voice reproduction and comprehensibility of speech.
These characteristics make it an ideal loudspeaker for surround systems; it can be used both as main and rear loudspeakers, and also as the centre unit, where it is responsible for the clear reproduction of human voices.
